Statutory Clinical Governance Notice (HPCSA PBEC)
The CDST (v1.3) IS the Clinical Update: The HPCSA Professional Board for Emergency Care (PBEC) confirmed that the CDST flowcharts and algorithms act as the bedside implementation of the April 2022 Capabilities & Medications (Annexure A). The 2022 Matrix remains the legal grounding, and the colour-coding in this app perfectly mirrors that regulation.
Cadre Nomenclature Clarification: For statutory alignment with legacy and current qualifications:
- New ANT refers to the NDip (National Diploma).
- Legendary ANT refers to the CCA (Critical Care Assistant).
- Legendary BAA refers to the BAA (Basic Ambulance Assistant).
